I want to thank those who sent me videos and photos.  I have yet to copy them and return them to you.  Now that March Madness is here and I have an excuse for goofing off, maybe I can get them copied and returned.

Sussi, I'll get your photos back to you soon.  Paula, thanks for the recent photo of Cathy Ware.  If anyone knows there whereabouts of the Class of 1970, please let them know we are here!

Dear Bruce: What a pleasant surprise, when my sister Mariana Muller Soares (Class of 90') told me about the EA website.  Just moved to Scottsdale two months ago from Bryn Mawr, PA with my husband and two little boys.  I went to E.A. from kindergarten to 12th grade, and graduated in 1982.  My sister Cristina Muller (Class of 84) lives in London, England.  Would love to hear from classmates.  Corina Muller Monaghan - Saturday, March 21, 1998 at 01:07:42 (EST)

I´ve been here once before, and believe me it´s not the last time I´m around.   This is a major callout to reach the rest of the gang of class of ´79, so if anybody heard from one of the following people, or knows of their whereabouts, tell them to search for this website: Robert ( Bob ) E. Trimper, Allegra Robinson, Melanie Liddle, Iona Cathrine McMillan, Juliet Faithfull, Cheryl Boswell.  Some of us have found the site, so come on the rest of you, join us!  Ronny Ronny Sterup - Wednesday, March 18, 1998 at 17:29:36 (EST)

HHHMMMM! Porcão... I can't wait to stuff my face there again!  E que caipivodka!   I'll be in Rio in May for 3 weeks so if anyone there I know sees this, get in touch with me!!!  Bruce, did you scan my stuff? ( no hurry, just wondering.)  Let us know how your sisters' trip went.  Abraço, Sussi.  P.S. I guess Ms. Fernanda doesn't think highly of Ms. Phillips!!  Sussi Dahl, San Diego, CA USA - Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at 13:47:11 (EST)

Wish we could have more of you out here with us.  It has been a real fun week.  Abraços para todos e em especial para a Class of '81.  Karla Redig, Rio de Janeiro, RJ Brasil - Monday, March 16, 1998 at 22:41:56 (EST)

Hi!  A friend and I are setting up a web page for our school and we happened upon yours.  We are elementary school teachers in Bristol.  I thought it was interesting to see what a school is like in another country.  I may be visiting Brazil this summer.  Maybe I can drop by in person.   Monica Tommasi, Bristol, CT USA - Monday, March 16, 1998 at 12:31:58 (EST)

I noticed on another school's website a call for donations of old YEARBOOKS and other memorabilia from the school.  It occurred to me that some of you just MIGHT wish to donate your YEARBOOKS to this effort.  I'm sure most of you wouldn't part with them, but it never hurts to ask.  If you'd like to either donate, or simply "loan" your yearbook temporarily to us, please send them to: --- 33 West Willetta Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85003.  I can scan relevant materials from them and return them to you.  If you do send me anything, send it via UPS or Federal Express, or at least via a secure means.  I've had many videotapes disappear via the UA Mail when sent normal mail.  If you want the materials back, make sure you identify them sufficiently so they can be identified as your "stuff."  Thanks.   Webmaster, Phoenix, AZ USA - Saturday, March 14, 1998 at 11:56:30 (EST)

Just thought I'd drop in and add a few words.  Bruce, you did a great job over the weekend getting the class lists organized for public viewing.  I know I have trouble with my computer from time to time and while I was able to down-load a class list I could not view it.  I'll get someone smarter to show me what I'm doing wrong.  In the meantime, if anyone else has a similar problem please drop me an email message, tell me what class you want, I will send you the same class list file, and maybe that transaction will be successful.  These computers are great when they work!  And when you mail me please pay attention to the capitals in my address (and the underline between WALT and PERKINS).  I don't know why but this apparently makes the difference in getting things through to me.  Has anyone heard how great Carnaval was this year?   Probably just a run-of-the-mill outstanding party! Just updated Guestbook Archives with all February messages.  Click on "webmaster" on this message to view those entries.  After posting the 3200 names on the web (they're still up here - but not really visible without searching), Wally Perkins wrote to say they didn't work after downloading.  My fault.  I screwed up Wally's message to this page when editing this page today, but I want to thank both Dave McGuerty and Walt Perkins for going the "extra mile" for all of us.   Dave compiled the huge list with the help of Dr. Brown and his own efforts, and Walt took it upon himself to verify with each of you that the information was suitable for publishing to this site.  Once I do my part, you'll all be able to check for friends around the globe.  Feel free to write to Walt and/or Dave to inquire about missing friends.  I'll try to help out, too.  March Madness is upon us!  Go Arizona!  The World Cup cometh!  Have you noticed the CBS adds with Ronaldo?   Penta, Brasil!  Webmaster Phoenix, AZ USA - Saturday, March 14, 1998 at 10:43:46 (EST) Webmaster <bruce@stirlinglaw.com>

This page is really a treat. After visiting with Charlie Cookson in SP, Eddie Schick is now in Rio and last night we had a small class of '81 get together.  Philip Greenman, Vera Waissman, Tony Pires, Carmen Ferreira, Eddie Schick, and unfortunately we missed Didu Simas.  Tomorrow we will be again together at a churrasco at Philip's house.  We are trying to gather more people out there.  Pictures were taken and will be taken tomorrow and sent to Bruce.  This is just a beginning.  Keep up this great job.   Um grande abraço para todos.  Karla Redig, Rio de Janeiro, RJ Brasil - Saturday, March 14, 1998 at 07:32:29

Finally, I decide to get onto the Net and the EA page was my first try.  Great way to discover this incredible way of communicating.  Hope to hear from some other friends class '77, etc.  My siblings are all in the US, Robert with the Army in Fort Drum, NY, Sandra in Lake Tahoe, and Tommy in Boston.  I have two daughters, Anna 4 1/2 (just entered the German school Escola Corcovado) and Caroline who will be 1 on April Fools!  Saudades of EA and the good old days.  Beijos to all old friends, hello to all alumni, keep in touch.  Christina Norén Flynn (Crica) Rio, RJ BRASIL - Friday, March 13, 1998 at 21:22:20 (EST) Christina Norén Flynn - Saturday, March 14, 1998 at 10:32:10 (EST) Christina Norén Flynn

Surfing the net and encountering this homepage brings old memories alive, and what memories!  This institution gave me some of my best years of education, and the urge of succeeding in life.  This also reminds me that I from time to time miss my old friends, love to all of you where ever you are?  Ronny Sterup, class of ´79   And most of all: a saudade do Brasil!  Ronny Sterup Copenhagen, Denmark - Friday, March 13, 1998 at 18:00:07 (EST) Ronny Sterup <rsterup@pc-brokers.dk.

This is Charlie Cookson '84, from Sao Paulo, hanging out with Eddie Schick '81, who is visiting.  Eddie just came off the Islands (Cayman) after a four-year stint with a bank and is now moving back to the Continent (probably the East Coast).  I am a practicing attorney and just back from Florianopolis, where I worked on the upcoming privatization of a regional utility.  Otto Lobo '86 is an associate in the law firm's Rio de Janeiro office.  Over the past few months we have been in touch with Ian Duff '79, Cicero Salles '80, Roberto Pons '82, Sean Hutchinson '85, Paula Odonne '85 and David Cortez '85.  The site is awesome.  Keep it coming.  Evandro Missagia and Bolling "Boliche" de Souza: TCHAN! To all my friends and former students, I thought you might like to know that the team I coach in Bahrain clinched the national title last Thursday.  My wife and I are very happy with this new accomplishment.  Take care and best regards!  Walter Carvalho, Juffair, Bahrain - Sunday, March 08, 1998 at 08:38:07 (EST) <coachc@batelco.com.bh>

I miss the school far more than I thought I would several months ago.  I guess the "saudade" grows exponentially. Congratulations for the initiative.  Abraço - Zeca'97 J. Joaquim (Zeca) N. Brito, Washington, DC USA - Sunday, March 08, 1998 at 04:25:31 Joaquim(Zeca) N. Brito <cafrito@gwu.edu>

My sisters, Mercy ('69) and Robin ('68), just hit Rio today.  Then they'll check out Fortaleza, before returning on March 22.  Wish I was with them.  I'd swing by the school to check out what's happening.  Suelena, they may come see you.   Webmaster USA - Thursday, March 05, 1998 at 22:44:05 (EST)

I would love to find Davi Guerra.  I haven't heard from him for may years.  I did not attend EA but have many friends who did such as Davis', Musgraves', Keys', and all the missionary families who lived in Rio from '61 to '81. :) Cynthia Renfrow Mercado Columbia, MMOMO USA - Thursday, March 05, 1998 at 11:43:56 (EST) <cintiamercado@juno.com>
