50th Anniversary Celebration - Page 3

Mrs. Bridge was there, too! She was once my Fifth Grade teacher, science I believe. She was in good spirits, yelling at the video, "Hello, Mrs. Stirling," to my mother, also a former teacher at EA (English and social studies).

Rafael Miranda ('68) is seen from behind as he begs for more "feijão." Seemed like old times. I think the stainless steel trays were the same ones I ate from in 1961!

Abaetê ('65), still discussing Julie Burnette with Mercy ('68). He wanted to know if she was doing anything "useful" with her life. Mercy replied she thought Julie was known to be playing a lot of golf, tennis, and bridge. Hank Font ('56) standing in middle.

Abaetê trying to convince us Rio has changed, and that Angra dos Reis is now where it's at.  No one cared because we were too busy "matandoing saudades."  Jane Damude ('65) now a psychologist in Canada, is seen going by with her stainless steel tray.  I tried to limit my conversation with her, fearing she might uncover some deep rooted problem or read my mind.   I risked it a little by confiding it was good to see all of my older sisters' friends (Barbara Moorby, Virginia O'Donnell).  Hank Font ('56), former EA heart throb, according to an old 1959 yearbook, still awaits his "feijão."
