Ô gênte! Thank you for visiting and helping us matar saudades. We would love it if you would Write A Few Words to our guestbook!

Hey, Bruce, I am sick about the fact that I still don't have Java so that I can join a chat room. I hope the rest of you out there are typing your little fingers off with saudades. Tucson is having our Heritage Festival this next weekend, October 3rd and 4th. All the culture clubs set up booths and sell ethnic food, and there is music and dancing. The Brasilian booth will be selling feijao and I don't know what else. Robin Stirling Kottabi is letting us use the kitchen at her Childcare /Preschool, The Sandbox, for cooking. Some batucada band will be playing too. Anyone in the area needs to show up for Saturday and Sunday in the park downtown behind the old courthouse! It is so neat to see people finding one another and seeing how much the "terra onde canta o sabia" has impacted on so many lives. Keep up the good work and beijos to all the Phoenix Stirlings from Tucson!

I lived in Rio from 74'-78' I attended OLM and EA. What a great time we had back then. Best wishes to all. I did not graduate in Brasil but would have been in the class of '80.

So now that I've come across this place, some words are a must. There are so few things that I "belong" to that finding this is sort of weird; but I guess that EA has to be one of those things. Speaking from 27 years later, did we change the world? Well, some. How many are still causing trouble? Most? Me? Yeah, lots, still working for changes but from the inside; the outside didn't work to well. What great memories EA. Sorry I missed the reunion.

Sure is good to finally see some more of you from the Class of 1981 on the guestbook. If you know of the whereabouts of anyone else from our class, please let me know, or Bruce or Walt. Hope to see more of you soon. Class of 1981!!!!

While uploading new names and addresses, it looks like I reformatted the alumni pages by accident. Sorry . . . looks like everything is "centered." I'll fix it soon (so far, no luck). If any of you have any ideas on how to improve this site, please email me with your suggestions.

I spent one glorious year at EA in Rio and graduated in 1966. I have had alot of fun looking around the webpage and would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. I am now living in LA (Tarzana to be precise). Married, 2 kids (18 and 15) and work for the Cancer Information Service at UCLA counseling cancer patients. Even though I just had one year in Rio, I fell in love with it. I am especially interested in finding Cathy Cardwell who graduated with me and who left Oberlin College (where we both went) after a year and disappeared. She was my soulmate and I would love to find out what happened to her. I would also like to know if anyone knows where Pamela Mills is. Also our history teacher Mr. Cook who introduced me to the favelas through his community service project. Finally, if anyone knows of any good Brasilian restaurants in the LA area--holler--I'd kill for a good feojada!! Hope to hear from some people. Nancy Baxter, class of 1966

Just a quick note to say that in the process of cleaning up cyberspace directories, I wiped out a few features of the page. I won;t tell you what they are because you might not even notice. Bear with me and all will soon be well. Thank you all for spreading the word! You need NOT have graduated from EA to be a very welcome guest here. Yours truly left in the 7th grade. I want everybody back! The we will all remember things we said and did yesterday! Tchau!

Hey, does anybody remember me? I would have been class of '83, had I not had to return to Canada. I was at E.A. from '72-'78 , and then again from '80-'81 before I finally left. My sister, Allegra, also went to E.A. I'd love to hear from anyone, especially Romulo Pires (prato de pirex) or John Kinsella (cadela), or anyone who knows of their whereabouts. I have only very erratic and infrequent use of a computer, so anyone who wants to contact me will have to do so via snail mail. I may be reached at the following address: Robert Robinson, 56 Coolmine Road, Toronto, Ontario, M6J 3E9, Canada and my sister, Allegra, may be reached at : Allegra Robinson, 294 Swanwick Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M1N 1W4 , Canada. My years at E.A. are the ones I still remember most fondly in all my life! E.A. was not just a school, it was a way of life! Hope to hear from someone soon. Please do not E-mail as I am using someone else's computer.
