Notice to ALL Freecycle Phoenix Members:
This message is automatically sent to all new members upon applying for membership, and again upon joining
Freecycle Phoenix. You were not singled out. You receive this message twice, and again once a month. So
there are no excuses for not knowing the rules.
To remain a member in good standing, you must obey all rules of this site. The Rules are found on a link
here: http://www.stirlinglaw.com/freecyclephoenix/ . Please read the rules and do not post ANY message until
you know the rules. If you post a message, it will be assumed you know the rules. Messages posted in violation
of the rules may get you banned from the site.
The Freecycle Phoenix User Agreement and Rules are incorporated herein by this reference.
The basic rules are very simple:
1. Everything must be FREE- NO SELLING! Bye!
2. No ANIMALS! You will be banned if you post a message either offering or asking for an animal! Bye!
3. No advertising - the moderator will decide what constitutes advertising on Freecycle Phoenix.
4. No trading.
5. No bartering.
6. No adult materials - everything offered must be rated "G" in the opinion of the moderator.
7. Nothing ILLEGAL - (i.e., no copyrighted materials, no copied music, videos, CDs, DVDs, alcohol,
etc. This is not Napter, Bearshare, Morpheus, etc.) NO SOFTWARE - PERIOD!
8. No animals. PERIOD. See Rule 2 above!
9. No chatting about anything. This prohibition includes complaints about others, the moderator,
and/or posts of any kind. No messages for services or other groups, unless approved by
the moderator.
10. No harassment of other members will be tolerated. Read Arizona's Revised Statute on harassment
by following this link: http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ars/13/02921.htm .
11. No more than ONE "wanted" post per member per month, unless the additional "wanted" posts are
accompanied by posts for "offers."
12. No "wanted" posts for coupons, electronic games, and/or "big ticket" items not reasonably likely
to end up in a landfill. No requests for "luxury" items. The moderator's call on these issues
is final.
13. We ask that your first post be an "offer."
14. DO NOT VIOLATE THE RULES!
